Malaysian Navel Candling & Abdomen Massage

Malaysian Navel Candling & Abdomen Massage

This is a relaxing and refreshing therapy combining Chinese reflexology, Shiatsu, Yoga and traditional Thai massage techniques.

The abdominal and navel therapy belongs to the oldest form of therapy within the traditional Malay Medicine. The aim is to treat the entire body by combining different manual techniques such as Urut (massage), herbs (applied externally) to abdomen, and navel candling in order to achieve a flow of Qi and blood along the meridians and organs and regulating them. By the help of this stimulation and regulation the functioning of the 4 elements (Malay organic system) is being restored.

The Treatment

This treatment includes a therapeutic massage, massage using a warm herbal compress, naval candling and a detoxifying abdomen mask. The treatment begins with th massage using the warm herbal compress before the detox massage is then performed.

The navel candling is then performed before the detox paste is then applied to the abdomen. Once this has been removed with hot mitts, a lymphatic drainage and detoxifying massage then completes the treatment.

  • Avoid any headache tablets as these too contain caffeine
  • Avoid eating a heavy meal. Eat a light and natural diet, as refined and processed foods add to the toxicity levels within the body and hinder the natural healing process
