Sound Bath Therapy

Sound Bath Therapy

A sound bath is typically a way of managing anxiety, soothing the nervous system, and blocking all the ideas and thoughts out of your consciousness as you connect with your body.

Sound therapy can be used to treat any illness or ailment or physical, emotional, as it works at a fundamental energetic level. This treatment is non-invasive as it is applied through clothes and therefore can be performed anywhere.

The sound bath is the most natural and primal form of healing. This powerful practice brings a sense of relaxation and peace, which resets and rejuvenates your mind and body.

Experiencing a sound bath is taking a holistic approach to relaxation and healing. It can be a perfect escape from the modern stresses of life. A sound bath can cleanse the soul and restore your balance. This stems from the immense power of sound and vibration. Sound has a great influence on our emotions and health and can make us feel happy, energised and relaxed.

The Treatment

During a sound bath, a profound sense of peace and tranquility will surround you. After your initial consultation, your practitioner will discuss the various tools and instruments that they have personally been trained to us. This may include traditional singing bowls, quartz singing bowls, chimes, gongs, drums, tuning forks, crystal pyramids and more. The session is usually performed with the client laying on a therapy couch covered with a light blanket and remaining fully clothed throughout the duration of the session. The majority of the therapy is performed 'hands off' although there may be instances when the pracitioner feels drawn to placed one or more of the instruments on the physical body - although this isn't necessary.
